Jubilations Dinner Theatre: A Buddy Holly Birthday Bash As his final school year begins, Buddy is getting ready for his 18th birthday. His mother, has a lovely evening planned for him that includes watching the Lawrence Welk Show on their brand new television and playing the violin. Buddy would rather be down at the local ballroom playing guitar for famous record producer Col. Cowbell who is touring around the country side looking the next Elvis Presley. Buddy’s friend Peggy Sue, on the other hand, has ideas of her own for Buddy and has planned a surprise party with his friends. In this one night, Buddy has to find a way to respect his parents, please his sweetheart, amaze his friends and break into rock and roll history with the music he loves.
